Hello you all,
currently Lexington is literally sunken in a world of snow. Even though we only got about one and a half inches over the last three days all public life is basically dead. We have been out of school since Monday and won't go tomorrow, Friday, either. As it is almost impossible to even leave the house, it's getting pretty boring by the time: there's not even homework to do any more. But we are still fortunate, parts of the city have been out of power for days and according to estimates will be for several more days. In our backyard there is a massive branch that's hanging menacingly over our power-line and we all hope that it won't break as many other branches that are lying all over our backyard. So we are all sitting at home, eating, reading, playing video games and boring ourselves to death.... Even my midterm meeting that was supposed to take place tomorrow and on Saturday in Louisville has been cancelled due to the weather: Winter in Kentucky!
